Approach

While every session is unique and designed to meet your child’s specific needs, all private sessions focus on addressing your child’s whole self (mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs) and developing a greater awareness of their true self.

Sessions may include energetic awareness and learning how to access presence, releasing limiting beliefs, enhancing self-worth and self-confidence, support for school-related challenges or neurotypical environments, an understanding of their strengths and unique learning style, empathic tools and resources, intuitive development, cultivating a sense of belonging, and accessing innovative teachings to nurture capabilities not yet included in traditional education.

Rather than coming from the mindset that your child needs to be fixed or changed, our work together focuses on meeting your child where they are and honoring them for who they are. The goal is to help your child feel empowered to express their true self and realize their unique potential.

How to Begin

CONSULTATION

Upon receipt of intake forms, we begin with a 50-minute parent consultation to discuss your child’s needs, address questions and concerns, gather input, and provide an understanding of my practice. and determine how to proceed in our work together

SESSIONS

Integrative Educational Therapy sessions are designed to support children and adolescents who are neurodiverse, energetically-aware, or heightened sensitivities. Each session is 60-minutes in length. Meetings are usually held weekly or bi-weekly online. Sessions are both practical and energetic in nature.

PARENT SUPPORT

Ongoing parent support is an important factor in the beginning of our work together so that we can set a foundation that supports you, your child, and your family.

    We begin our time together building connection, engaging in a collaborative approach, and providing an environment in which your child feels safe to be themselves — the precursor to learning, motivation, and inspiration. The goal is to help your child move forward with increased resilience and long-lasting self-confidence in their awareness of who they are.

  • Highly Individualized Plans

    Based on the knoweldge gleaned from our intake sesssions, your child and I begin on a self-empowering journey that includes an awareness of their strengths and capabilities, interests and passions, learning style, and what makes them unique. From here, we compassionately address areas of challenge or concern, release limiting beliefs, and build upon their self worth.

  • Integrative Education

    Every session is unique and designed for the specific needs of your child. Drawing upon a depth of understanding around different learning processes, your child and I work to address whatever is presenting in their life — and build a bridge between their unique learning traits and talents and how to apply those to the skills needed in their daily lives.

  • Developing Learning Capabilities

    Nurturing Unique Capabilities

    Many neurodiverse children and adolescents have capabilities not yet addressed through education. They have different expressions of intelligence, awareness, and developmental timeframes that rarely correlate to age/grade based norms. An Integrative Education provides unique courses and teachings that support your child in their inner and outer life.

  • Empathic and Energetic-Sensitivities

    Together, your child and I explore how to connect to their intuition and inner world. They learn new tools and strategies to self soothe and self regulate, address energetic sensitivities such as night fears or empathy, and gain insight on how to set healthy boundaries, while developing collaborative communication with themselves and others.

  • Joy and Authentic Expression

    When education is used to promote self-discovery, an engagement in one's passions and interents, and the ability to be guided by one's inner resources and wisdom, the result is the joy, inspiration, and motivation that comes from authentic and heartfelt expression.
