Meet Kim
“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.”
—Eleanor Roosevelt
Kim Southerland, M.A. is an integrative educational therapist and consultant. She has worked in private practice, hospital settings, schools, and learning centers providing support to children and adolescents with learning differences for over twenty-five years. Kim received her master's degree in educational psychology, is a certified practitioner in multiple learning modalities, and continued her post-graduate training in psychoeducational assessments at California Pacific Medical Center.
In additon to extensive knowledge and training in learning theory and psychology, Kim also includes studies in twice-exceptionality (2e), neuroscience, trauma, family constellations, polyvagal theory, and energy healing. She is certified in the Oaklander Model of Gestalt Play Therapy for Children and pioneering learning practices such as the ICU Academy, Original Sight, Sound Anatomy, and Light Language.
As an energy intuitive, medium, and light language channel, Kim serves as a communication bridge to provide parents and educators with an understanding of their child/student on a soul level. She offers sessions for parents and educators to support their own expansion and awareness, as well as practical and grounded tools, that will help them to support themselves, and their child/students, in all areas of life.
Kim also offers sessions for neurodiverse and energetically-sensitive children and adolescents that helps them develop a greater awareness of their true nature and potential, while providing support to navigate mainstream environments that have not yet caught up to their awareness and abilities.
She offers a depth of understanding to all of her clients around the graceful balance it requires as we move from an old paradigm into a more loving world.
